PURPOSE:To suppress the oscillation of an object lens, which occurs when the object lens is moved in a high speed, in a short time and to stabilize it by providing an electromotive force generating means in a holding member which holds the object lens and moving the holding member in accordance with the moving position of the holding member by the electromotive force of this electromotive force generating means. CONSTITUTION:When a high-speed access is discriminated by a CPU41, the CPU41 switches a switching circuit 42. A signal corresponding to positional deviation (in directions of arrows (e) and (f)) of the object lens 8 from a waveform shaping circuit 5, namely, a position signal from an integrating circuit 52 corresponding to the variance of the current value obtained from a coil 62 is supplied to a driving circuit 46 through the switching circuit 42. Thus, the driving circuit 46 applies a voltage reacting to individual piezoelectric elements of bimorph elements 25 and 26 in accordance with the signal from an integrating circuit 53 to move a lens holding frame 27, namely, the object lens 8 is moved in the direction of the arrow (e) of (f) so that the lens 8 is set in a fixed position.
