MULTIPLEX TRANSMISSION METHOD

PURPOSE:To attain multiplication and multiplex separation in comparatively simple constitution by carrying out the multiplication at the transmission side through parallel/serial conversion of plural data trains and then the multiplex separation at the reception side through the serial/parallel conversion. CONSTITUTION:For instance, the data string groups A and B of 45Mb/s equivalent to 9CH (channels) are applied to multiplexing parts 1 and 2 and converted into data strings D1 and D2 of 405Mb/s by the secondary signals FX1 and FX2 having frame synchronizing signals superposed with different secondary signals. Both strings D1 and D2 are applied to a P/S converter 3 and two parallel data strings are converted into serial forms to be used as the multiplexed data of 810Mb/s. This data is sent to a transmission line via an interface (IF) part 4. The multiplexing string data received from an IF part 5 is applied to an S/P converter 6 separated with multiplexing into the strings D1 and D2 by the S/P conversion to be applied to selectors SEL7 and 8 respectively. The data strings selected and delivered from both SEL7 and 8 are applied to the multiplex separation parts 9 and 10 and separated into data groups A and B of 45Mb/s equivalent to 9CH.
