PURPOSE:To arrange so that a cut recording material may be securely discharged through an outlet instead of its tip being introduced into the unit when transporting it by providing a guide plate below a recording head in such a way that the head of the guide plate may be positioned between the recording point of the recording head and a cutting means. CONSTITUTION:The tip of a cut recording material 2 exists near a cuter blade 7a provided at an outlet for the recording material. When printing/recoding operation started, the tip is transpoted again in the arrow (D) direction and discharged smoothly. However, if the tip 2a of the recoding material 2 is curled downward, the tip 2a will be forcibly introduced into the unit, as far as the head of a guide plate 11 povided below the outlet for guidance is located at a point 11a shown by a solid line. Therefore, to prevent this, the guide plate should be extended to the upstream side of a feed path for the recording material 2 beyond a cutting point 7a, e.g. upto a point 11b shown by a chain line. |
