PURPOSE:To eliminate the sagging down of a sample for analysis by using a water absorbent resin of a solid shape which holds the sample for analysis by absorbing either the aq. soln. or water emulsion of the sample for analysis. CONSTITUTION:The water absorbent resin such as, for example, sodium polyacrylate, of the solid shape which swells by absorbing the aq. soln. or water emulsion 2 of the sample for analysis and holds the sample for analysis into the resin at the same instant is used as a holding body 1. The aq. soln. or water emulsion of the sample for analysis can be therefore held by the body 1 even if said sample is a high boiling water soluble material which can be thermally cracked or a liquid compd. having no boiling point or a liquid compd. having a high b.p., etc. constituting the water emulsion. The thermal cracking is thus made possible without sagging down of the sample for analysis from a metallic plate 3 and since the deviation in the detection peak between the standard sample which is the sample for analysis and the thermally cracked matter is not generated, the identification of the thermally cracked matter as the standard sample is made possible. |
