PURPOSE:To improve strength of a retaining wall, by a method wherein a mounting member is vertically movably an rotatably mounted to the back of the wall piece of a retaining wall, and a turn buckle and a tensile material are mounted to the other end of a rotary member. CONSTITUTION:The upper end of a wall piece 4-1 and the lower end of a wall piece 4-2 re intercoupled through a mounting member 16, the member 16 is formed in an L-shape in cross section, and is formed with a plane part 18 and a side part 20. The member 16 is located vertically movable in a range of the L-range of an oblong hole 22, and a rotary member 26 is rotatably mounted to the side part 20. During a work for a foundation part, a turn buckle 36 is temporarily locked, a tensile materail is stretched, banking 56 is efected on the terminal side of an anchor plate 42, and thereafer rolling compaction is conducted for securing. This builds a retaining wall being exellent in resistance to pressure and resistance to earthquake, enables prevention of damage and break of the mounting member and the tensile material, and permits easy compensation of unevenness in a retaining wall surface by means of a turn buckle. |
