PURPOSE:To improve the reliability by putting a spacer between a liquid crystal display element and a printed board to make the press-in pressure of a rubber connector constant and stabilizing the set position of the rubber connector to attain stable electric connection. CONSTITUTION:In a liquid crystal display device where a liquid crystal display element 1 and a printed board 3 provided with an element IC driving the display element 1, resistance, a capacitor, etc. are connected by a rubber connector 2, a spacer 4 is put between the liquid crystal display element 1 and the printed board 3. The spacer 4 has a collar, and the collar part is brought into contact with the lower corner of the liquid crystal display element to position the spacer 4 accurately. Thus, the press-in pressure of the rubber connector 2 is made constant to attain stable electric connection. Further, assembling is facilitated.
