PURPOSE:To shift a cartridge carrier and a clamp mechanism with a simple constitution in synchronizing with them by installing a clamp head on the tip of a clamp supporting arm supported pivotally with the cartridge carrier and a clamp operating part slidable with respect to a frame side on the other end. CONSTITUTION:When a cartridge 1 is inserted into the cartridge carrier from an insertion opening part 201, a drive mechanism starts its operation to oscilate and swive counterclockwise two sets of ring levers 401 with a spindle 402 as a center, and the carrier 2 moves to the left along the horizontal transporting part of a transportation guide groove 5. When a transportation guide roller 207 comes to the position of a vertical fall transporting part 502, it starts falling, and simultaneously the clamp supporting arm 804 of the disk clamp 8 begins swiveling clockwise. Then the fall position of the cartridge 1 is regulated at the stage of the vertical positioning member 702 of a positioning pin 701, and the drive mechanism stops its operation. At this time, a recording medium 9 is supported by a turntable 703 with a space in approximately the center of the cartridge 1, and simultaneously a clamp head 805 supported by a clamp holder 806 presses from the upward the disk 9 fitted to a spindle guide 704 to clamp it. |
