The assembly system allows the assembly of any plane or three-dimensional unit, made from elements such as uprights 1 and cross pieces 2. With the levelling bearing edge 11 as a reference, an emerging hole, passing through or not passing through the thickness of the part, is made on the uprights 1. At the end of the cross pieces 2 there is made a shaping 21 mating the shape necessary so that assembly can take place. The invention may be used in the fields of modular furniture to be assembled by the user, of the house with a wooden framework or urban furniture made from prefabricated elements or for games. <IMAGE>
