Spectacle frame including surrounds or rims formed completely from flexible filiform elements suitable for being fitted over the spectacle lenses provided for this purpose, characterised in that the means suitable for gripping the surrounds, in order to retain the said lenses, consist of, for each lens, a tenon of the one-piece kind associated, on the one hand, with a rim clamp which is flush mounted in the said tenon so that the construction variances of the lenses and of the flexible filiform elements are, aesthetically, no longer visible from the outside, and, on the other hand, with a single screw permitting the adjustment of the gripping of the flexible filiform elements on the lens. <IMAGE>
