PURPOSE:To improve stability of the captioned device in stationary thereof by permitting a caster to enter interiorly of a lower end of a heavy article in the stationary while permitting it to project downwardly of the lower end of the heavy article in movement thereof due to the action of a lever, whereby allowing the caster to manifest its function. CONSTITUTION:A caster supporter 3 is slanted to a position where one end of the supporter makes contact with a stopper 9 when a roll conveyor 1 is stationary, and a lower end of the caster 2 is housed upwardly of the lower surface of the roll conveyor 1. Hereby, the conveyor 1 is stabilized while weight load is prevented from being applied to the caster 2 for preventing the caster 2, etc., from being damaged. When the roller conveyor is in movement, a lever rod 8 is inserted into a cylindrical body 6 and it 8 is rotated as the arrow A, whereby the caster supporter 3 is rotated by a prescribed angle around a pin 5 to make close contact with the stopper 10. Hereby, the caster 2 is pro jected from the lower surface of the roller conveyor 1 and stabilized into an attitude thereof ready for conveyance. Hereby, any load applied to the caster can be reduced for improving stability thereof in stationary. |
