<p>An apparatus for removing folding box blanks (4) from a stationary magazine (1), erecting them during transport and transferring the fully erected blanks to a transport device (2), comprises suction members (7) mounted on four- point linkages (16,17,18) which are arranged on a rotary carrier (5) and which are controlled by a cam (14) during the rotation in such a manner that during the removal of the blanks (4) a stationary condition of the suction members (7) occurs and during the transfer of the erected blanks to the transport device (2) the suction members (7) are moved synchronously with the said transport device. The blanks are erected by erection levers (9) acting on the blanks when held by the suction members (7). An additional suction member may be provided for gripping the side of the blanks opposite to that gripped by the suction members (7), when dealing with boxes which are difficult to open. <IMAGE></p> |
