<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the gap between the piston of a start clutch and a clutch plate and improve accel response by applying low pressure to the piston chamber of the start clutch through a low pressure valve at stop status. CONSTITUTION:A start clutch 1 press-contacts clutch plates 3 and 4 and makes power intermittent by moving a piston 2 to the left. A low pressure 10 is provided with a spool 11 and a spring 12. An oil path 31 is connected to a spring chamber 14 and an opening 32 opened and closed by the needle 21 of a solenoid valve 20 is provided in the oil path 31. The solenoid valve 20 is set to ON and OFF by the signals from a control means 22 and advances the needle 21 and then opens and closes the opening 32. A control means 22 inputs signals coming from an number of engine rotations 23, a throttle opening sensor 24, and a car speed sensor 25 and performs a smooth start control.</p> |
