<p>Device for biological treatment of wastewater with biorotors (1, 2, 3, 4) lowered in the water with the substrate growth surface that constitutes the rotor dimensioned relative to the volume of water so that there is 1-10 litres of water per m<2> of substrate surface, suitably 2-8 litres per m<2> substrate surface. The material has a specific surface of 150-400 m<2> per m<3> external material volume (suitably 200-350 m<2> per m<3>). When this results in water volumes that exceed that lowered rotor volume, the basin is widened with one or more shields (5) situated at the basin to prevent the water from being shunted past the respective rotor.</p> |
