PURPOSE:To move a horizontal image in each dot by fixing mutual timing relation between specific operations and shifting these timing from the display start timing fixed in the horizontal direction in each period of a display clock. CONSTITUTION:The mutual timing relation between the updating timing of a counted output of a horizontal counter 15 and the load timing of drawn data is fixed and these timing are shifted from the display start timing fixed in the horizontal direction in accordance with the moved distance of a displayed image within the range of 1-4 display clocks to move the image in each dot of the horizontal direction. In said constitution, a latch circuit for holding read data for the period of 4 display clocks can be omitted, and it is unnecessary to increase the size of a circuit even if the number of dots for parallel processing or the number of bits per dot is increased.
