PURPOSE:To lengthen the span of life of a motor reducing the sliding loss, by providing a brush for a retardation-rotated commutator. CONSTITUTION:A three pole commutator motor is provided with a stator magnet 4 on the inner periphery of one chamber 3 divided by an intermediate plate 2, and bearings 5, 6 are provided for each central section of the end wall of the chamber 3 of a case 1 and the intermediate plate 2 to support the first shaft 7. A rotor 10 provided with a core 8 and a coil 9 is fitted on the shaft 7, and the first commutator 11 with a gear is provided. And a bearing 17 is formed on the center of the end wall on another chamber 16 side of the case 1, and the second shaft 18 is supported by the bearing 17, and the second commutator 19 with a gear is provided. Between the gears 14, 20 of the both commutators 11, 19, a 1/n retardation-conductive gear (n=2) 23 is placed, and the second shaft 18 is rotated 1/2 as retarded as the first shaft 7, and a DC power source is connected to the segment of the commutator 19 in sliding contact with a brush 27. And the commutator 19 is rotated only by a half frequency by current through the brush 27 when the coil 9 is rotated by one frequency, and during the time, rectification by one cycle is carried out. |
