PURPOSE:To enable accurate measurement of an inside diameter of pipe in the vertical direction passing through the pipe center, by fixing a balancing member at the bottom of the measuring apparatus proper anchored free to rotate around a guidering and keeping a sensing member in a vertical condition when it passes through the pipe. CONSTITUTION:At the center of a pair of guide rings 1, 1, with an outside diameter available for penetration through a specimen pipe, supporting shafts 2, 2 projecting from the measuring apparatus proper 3 are supported free to swing in a bearing respectively. And, a balance member 31 is fixed under the main body 3, and on the main body 3 a displacement member 4 consisting of upper 5 and lower sensing members 6, is installed which are suspended free of move in the vertical directions. Consequently, by an action of the member 31, the members 5, 6 are kept in the vertical condition and the inside diameter of the pipe in the vertical direction passing through the pipe can be measured accurately. |
