PURPOSE:To prevent a wiper blade from floating up by arranging an air clyinder in parallel with a spring which presses an arm in itself toward the glass so as to effect the action of the air cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A spring 1 is installed in a stretched form between a pin 5a and a stay 8 arranged in an arm head 5 allowing the spring 11 to press an arm in itself 6 toward a front window glass 3. An air cylinder 15 is arranged in parallel with the spring 11 between the pin 5a and the stay 8. The inside of the cylinder in itself 6 is devided by a piston head 17 into two rooms: A and B, and a large hole 17a and an orifice 17b are arranged on the piston head 17. And the large hole 17a is opened and closed by way of a lead valve. the lead valve 19 is closed when a wiper arm is about to float up by wind due to the running of a car. This prevents the air cylinder 15 from stretching, and consequently does not permit the arm to float up. |
