PURPOSE:To decrease the change width of a synthetic magnetic floating force, increase the change frequency, and stabilize the floating by feeding the three- phase AC currents having different phases to individual three-pole coils in a floating conveyor using a nonmagnetic material such as aluminum. CONSTITUTION:Cores 3-5 are arranged in a s in a casing 6, and a pair of coils (La1, La2), (Lb1, Lb2), (Lc1, Lc2) are wound on individual poles respectively. The R-phase current of the three-phase AC power supply is fed to the coils La1, La2, the S-phase current to the coils Lb1, Lb2, and the T-phase current to the coils Lc1, Lc2 respectively. As a result, the floating force Fs applied to a nonmagnetic material 1 by the R, S, T-phase currents is a total sum of floating forces of the R, S, T phases. The pulsating wave has a frequency six times as large as the power supply frequency, thus the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of the floating force Fs is small. Accordingly, the vibration width of the nonmagnetic material 1 is decreased and the floating is stabilized. |
