The invention relates to a shield-tail seal for driving shields which is designed as a double seal and has two gap seals (9, 10) which are arranged one behind the other and can be releasably secured to the inside of the shield tail. According to the invention, the gap seals (9, 10) are held by means of several threaded spindles (23) which are distributed over the gap periphery and can be coupled with their rear ends to one of the two gap seals (9, 10). In their front area, the threaded spindles (23) are provided with adjusting nuts (18) which are rotatably arranged in an abutment (14) fastened to the shield tail (2). The gap seals (9, 10) can be displaced and positioned in or against the driving direction (V) by means of turning-tool connection members (21, 25, 31) arranged on the threaded spindles (23) and the adjusting nuts (18). Several grouting tubes (34) passing with a sealing effect through the gap seals (9, 10) are distributed over the gap periphery (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
