PURPOSE:To obtain a canned drink filled with nitrogen gas having negative pressure, having high quality, preservable for a long period, and producible without causing the problem of the examination of the can, by substituting at least a part of oxygen in the head space and in the drink with nitrogen gas. CONSTITUTION:The objective canned drink filled with nitrogen gas and having negative pressure, i.e. a vacuum degree of <=10cmHg at 40 deg.C, can be prepared by introducing nitrogen gas into the drink and the space above the drink, and introducing nitrogen gas into the head space of a can in the filling an sealing of the drink in a can at 50-100 deg.C. The vacuum degree of the above drink is higher than 10cmHg at 40 deg.C, and can be examined by tapping the can at a temperature within the above range. |
