PURPOSE:To prevent a sheet of paper from wrinkling by providing driving rollers coaxially with a self-feeding roller and bringing pinch rollers in pressure contact with the peripheral surfaces of said driving rollers at a proper inclination angle, in a paper feeding device which is used in a facsimile unit, etc. CONSTITUTION:In this paper feeding device, pinch rollers 60, 62 are brought in pressure contact with the peripheral surfaces of driving rollers 52, 54 is positions toward the advancing direction side of a sheet of original paper 14, from a position in which a separating member 32 is brought in pressure contact with the peripheral surface 58 of a self-feeding roller 16. And, the pinch rollers 60, 62 are inclinedly provided by an inclination angle theta so as to guide each of both ends of the sheet of original paper 14 outwardly with respect to the paper conveying route of arrow A. Thereby, due to an original-paper 14 conveying force F by the pinch rollers 60, 62 and the driving rollers 52, 54, a component F' which outwardly pulls the sheet of original paper 14, is generated. Accordingly, a wrinkle which may be produced due to difference in conveying speed between the self-feeding roller 16 and the driving rollers 52, 54, can be previously corrected by the components F' which pulls the original paper from the both ends of its width direction. |
