PURPOSE:To obtain easy manufacturing of electrode parts in an electron gun equipped with an electron beam centralization system by burring-processing only central opening out of three neighboring openings at main lens. CONSTITUTION:Only central openings out of three respective openings, of G3 electrode 11 and G4 electrode 12 are burring-processed, with the openings on both-sides being simply served as apertures. Moreover, correcting electrode parts 111 and 121 are installed inside the respective electrodes 11 and 12. In the correcting electrodes, their both-side openings are burring-processed, with the central openings, being simply served as apertures. In these both-side cylindrical parts, the edge faces of these cylinders are slant against the respective central axes 15 and 17 of the side beams, and asymmetric lenses are formed on both sides. Hence electric field components, which tend forward the outside from the opening sides, are generated. The side beams are given centralized force tending toward the center beam direction by these electric field components. Since the respective neighboring openings on the electrodes 11 and 122, and correcting electrodes 111 an 121, are not burring-processed at the same time, easy manufacturing can be obtained. |
