PURPOSE:To enable a driver to notice the operation of an annunciator means to prevent accidents by operating the annunciator means when vehicle speed exceeds a set value to the undesirable degree of safety in autocruise. CONSTITUTION:A lamp 33 and a buzzer 34 which are annunciator means are operated by CPU11 through a lamp driving circuit 31 and a buzzer driving circuit 32. Then, CPU11 judges according to the signal from an autocruise setter 20 whether or not it is during autocruise or the lamp 33 and buzzer 34 are being operated. And CPU11 receives the signal sent from a vehicle speed sensor 22 to represent the present vehicle speed V and judges which is larger, a first predetermined value DELTAV1 added to the present vehicle speed V and a set one V0 or a second predetermined value DELTAV2 added to the set vehicle speed V0. When the vehicle speed exceeds the set value up to the undesirable degree of safety, the annunciator means is operated.
