PURPOSE:To perform unmanned electrode change and automatic continuous machining by constituting the captioned unit in such a way that one set of wire electrode feeding device selected automatically and properly among a plurality of the device threads a wire electrode using an automatic wire electrode threading unit. CONSTITUTION:When a machining by a wire electrode 1A is completed, the feed of the wire electrode is stopped by an NC command, the electrode 1A is cut by a cutter 16A, and the remainder of the electrode in a guide pipe 18 is taken back 14 by a winding roll 13. Then, a selecting unit 17 and the guide pipe 18 are moved to a guide 19 and a cutter 16B along with the motion of a machining table 8. And a wire electrode 1B is delivered from an electrode reel 2B to an automatic wire electrode threading unit 3 through the guide pipe 18 and guide 19 being threaded through a starting hole. By this constitution, automatic continuous machining can be performed without manual wire electrode change. |
