PURPOSE:To execute the simple and stable action by having plural photodetecting elements to detect an image through a deflector and a control part to control a deflecting quantity of respective deflectors so that plural images can be inputted to respective photodetecting elements. CONSTITUTION:When a high voltage is applied from a sequence control part 11 to an electrode 3, a grade of a refractive index having straightness in the X shaft direction occurs at deflecting elements 1 and 2. For this reason, a picture element of 12-1 is polarized, and image-formed at the position of 10-1. Next, the electric potential of electrodes 3 and 4 is zero, the high voltage is impressed to an electrode 7, and then, in the Z shaft direction the same grade of the refractive index grade occurs, 12-2 is deflected and the image information is executed to 10-1. Next, when 7-8 is a zero level and the high voltage is impressed to the electrode 4, the grade of the refractive index, which is reverse to the above-mentioned grade, occurs and the picture element of 12-3 is inputted. When 3-4 is a zero level and the high voltage is impressed to 8, the information of the picture element of 12-4 is inputted. thus, picture elements 12-1-12-4 of dense construction are located at the position 10-1. The input is in turn executed to the photodetecting element and the resolution of four times can be obtained.
