PURPOSE:To attain tuning display of a low power consumption by extinguishing a tuning display LED during the tuning period and lighting it during the non- tuning period. CONSTITUTION:When a portable small sized radio receiver 1 is in the tuning state, the tuning display LED2 is extinguished and remains extinguished afterward when the tuning state is consecutive. On the other hand, when the portable small sized radio receiver 1 reaches the non-tuning state, the tuning display LED2 is lighted to display the non-tuning state. Thus, no waste power is consumed to the display of the tuning state and the service life of a battery being a portable equipment is extended. |
