<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a signal from another cell in a radio communication system which performs communication using a plurality of channels having bands that become repetitive patterns. <P>SOLUTION: A radio wave status detection channel is changed along a time base. At this time, radio wave status detection channel is selected cyclically from among channels and interference power in each of the channels can be measured sequentially or a channel whose communication quality is considerably changed, is selectively used as a radio wave status detection channel and interference power in that channel can also be measured. When cyclically selecting the radio wave status detection channel from among the channels, radio wave statuses of all the channels can be monitored. Besides, when attention is paid upon one channel, accurate radio wave status is periodically performed, so that in a channel where the communication quality is not remarkably changed, the accurate radio wave status can be always recognized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
