PURPOSE:To manufacture a core having fixed strength of a gap sealing part efficiently and at high yield without leaving air bubbles in glass of the gap part by providing a notched part for placing a glass block in the upper part of the gap part on an end of the magnetic head core. CONSTITUTION:A half body 1 of core block that forms the magnetic head core has a notched part 6 in which a part (a) is stepped by grinding. When the glass block 5 is placed on the notched part 6 and molten, the molten glass flows in a winding groove 2 and the gap part is sealed. As the molten the glass does not block the output of air when it flows in the winding groove 2, the mixing in of air bubbles in the bonded part 4 of the gap can be prevented. |
