PURPOSE:To provide high ink receptibility and to enhance the printing resistance by using an image silver area formed by a photographic method as an ink receiving surface and by treating the image silver so that a specified triazine compound acts on the silver. CONSTITUTION:A lithographic plate having image silver of silver halide formed by a photographic method as an ink receiving material is manufactured. The image silver or silver halide on the surface of the image area of the plate receiving oil ink is treated with a treating soln. contg. a triazine compound represented by formulaI(where A is >=4 C alkyl, aryl, -O-R1 or -NR2,-R3 , R1 is >=4 C alkyl, aralkyl or aryl, each of R2 and R3 is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl, and the total number of C in R2 and R3 is >=4). The triazine compound improves the ink receptibility like a conventional mercapto compound, and it can remarkably enhance the printing resistance by >=2 times. |
