PURPOSE:To simply and certainly transmit the instruction for a tugboat through visual feeling by installing a pushing/pulling direction instruction member having the arrow-mark parts in turnable ways onto the broadside and arranging an output instruction lamp consisting of red, green, and yellow lamps onto the instruction member. CONSTITUTION:A pushing/pulling direction instruction member 3 having the parts 4 and 4' shown by the arrow is installed in turnable ways onto the broadside part of a vessel 1 pushed and pulled by a tugboat 12. Onto said instruction member 3, an output instruction lamp 13 consisting of the red RL, yellow YL, and green GL lamps is arranged. The pushing and pulling direction can be informed to the ship operator of the tugboat 12 simply and certainly by turning the arrow mark parts 4 and 4' of the instruction member 3, and the instruction for the degree of the output can be informed through visual feeling by each lamp 13.
