PURPOSE:To reduce a load of a central processor, and to improve a throughput of a system by constituting the titled system so that a main storage device or a peripheral device controls a flow of a transfer by control information in a data to be transferred. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic disk control device 4 requests a data transfer to a DMA control device 3 by a read instruction from a central processor 2. The control device 3 obtains a control right of a system bus 6 from the processor 2 thereby, and instructs to a control device 4 to load successively a read data onto a data bus. In this case, in case when the data is ID, a load address and a load pattern length, it is inputted to the control device 3, and in case when it is a load pattern, loading to the area concerned of a main storage device 1 is repeated. when ID for showing the last loading is received, the control device 3 gives a read end instruction to the control device 4, and the data transfer is ended. |
