PURPOSE:To easily correct fuel reduction due to limitation to a needle valve lift amount by providing an accumulator in an accumulator chamber which is afforded and interrupted communication to a fuel supply path by a change- over valve in synchronization with a back pressure of a plunger for controlling lift. CONSTITUTION:A back pressure chamber 6a is formed in the upper end side interior of a plunger fitting chamber 6 between the upper end surface of a plunger 13 for limiting a needle valve lift and the border surface of a valve fitting chamber 12. Also, an accumulator chamber 18 opposed to said chamber 6 through the valve fitting chamber 12 is provided to have a piston-like accumulator 19 slidably fitted therein and urged downward by a return spring 20. Thus, a change-over valve 21 is moved rightward in idling or low load and speed to afford communication between the back pressure chamber 6a, the accumulator chamber 18 and a fuel supply path 24 and correct fuel reduced by the lift limitation of a needle valve 14.
