摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device capable of obtaining high-quality images by a method wherein a magnetic fluid shields irradiating ultraviolet rays by forming a pattern corresponding to image signals at a stylus arrangement part. CONSTITUTION:A sensitized paper 14 is provided at a required position with the state of opposition of the stylus arrangement part 20 irradiated with ultraviolet rays from an ultraviolet light source 10 through a window 7a bored in an ultraviolet shield plate 7. When a magnetic field is formed around a stylus 1x by the flow of current from a current source 6, the magnetic fluid 8 is adsorbed to the stylus 1x. This adsorption enables the formation of magnetic fluid patterns based on image signals made of the magnetic fluid 8 pulled up in the stylus arrangement part 20 facing, via clear plate member 2, the window 7a provided in the ultraviolet shield plate 7. Since this magnetic fluid 8 shields ultraviolet rays from the ultraviolet light source 10, unexposed parts corresponding to the fluid pattern formed at the stylus arrangement part 20 are formed on the sensitized paper 14, resulting in the transcription of a scanning line of image based on image signals.
