<p>A reflective article, e.g. a mirror or a reflector, has a reflective surface formed by a vacuum deposited alloy consisting of aluminium and 4 to 40% by weight of zirconium. The inclusion of zirconium improves the normally low resistance of a vacuum-deposited aluminium film to progressive loss of reflectivity in service.</p> |
