PURPOSE:To effectively use generating magnetic flux due to armature current, by providing permanent magnets for positions distant from the center of magnetic poles generated with a field magnet coil in the rotational direction. CONSTITUTION:A generator is organized with a stator 6 wound up with armature windings 1 and a rotor 7 provided to be freely rotated in the stator. And the stator 6 and the rotor 7 are respectively formed with laminate cores, and permanent magnets 9, 9' are fitted on the rotor 7. Then, the permanent magnets 9, 9' are positioned on the rotational direction sides of the rotor 7 distantly from the center of magnetic poles (pole N, pole S) generated with the field magnet winding 4 of the rotor 7, and the polarity is arranged to be the same polarity as for the magnetic poles due to the field magnet winding 4. In this manner, magnetic flux due to the field magnet winding 4 is combined with magnetic flux phi4, phi4' due to armature reaction, and as load current is increased, field magnet flux is strengthened, and output voltage is made constant. |
