PURPOSE:To prevent defective printing from occurring on partial clogging of minute holes, by a method wherein a specified recording liquid is supplied onto a film having minute holes, and only the liquid at a desired part is ejected to fly. CONSTITUTION:A recording liquid 3 containing 0.2-200pts.wt. of a liquid agent for dissolving or dispersing a recording agent per 1ps.wt. of the recording agent and having a surface tension of 20-70dyne/cm and a boiling point of not higher than 200 deg.C is applied to a surface of the film 1 having minute holes 2, through a felt 4. The recording liquid is uniformly supplied into the holes 2, and when the film 1 is moved on a thermal head 5, the recording liquid is ejected to fly onto a recording paper 6 to form an image thereon in response to the operation of the thermal head. |
