PURPOSE:To provide a molding for working, which gives a work which has desired shape and elasticity and can be easily cut and recombined, by homogeneously mixing natural or synthetic water-soluble high-molecular powdery material with an aq. soln. which slowly dissolve said material. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic or natural water-soluble high-molecular powdery material such as a water-soluble synthetic resin (e.g. polyacrylamide), wheat flour or starch is homogeneously mixed with an aq. soln. which slowly dissolves said material to obtain a desired molding for working. Examples of said aq. soln. are those contg. a hygroscopic or deliquescent inorg. salt such as calcium chloride or magnesium chloride. Aq. soln. of an org. compd. contg. a hydroxyl group, such as glycerol, glycols, alcohols or saccharides canalso be used. The aq. soln. is mixed with the water-soluble high-molecular powdery material, and the mixture is cast into a mold, thus obtaining a molding.
