PURPOSE:To improve surface property, cleanability, abrasion resistance, resistance to hydroscopicity, etc., of a photosensitive body by incorporating a fluorinated block copolymer in a coat layer formed on a conductive substrate to form an electrophotographic sensitive body. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic charge generating layer 12 is formed by mixing and dispersing a photoconductor, such as azulene or pyrylium type dyes, into a binder resin, such as polyvinyl butyral or polyarylate, together with an org. solvent, and coating the substrate 11 with the coating fluid thus obtained. The electrophotographic sensitive body is obtained by coating the layer 14 with a coating fluid prepared by dispersing a charge transfer material, such as tetracyanoquinodimethane or 2,4,7-trinitro-9-fluorenone together with the fluorinated block copolymer into a binder resin, such as acrylate resin or polyarylate, to form a charge transfer layer. |
