PURPOSE:To produce a liquid crystal display element rapidly in a low defective ratio by adhering base materials for liquid crystal display element to an endless belt formed by a fine adhesive layer at least at its surface to produce the liquid crystal display element. CONSTITUTION:The fine adhesive layer 21 is formed at least on the surface of the endless belt 2 wound around a pair of pulleys 1. The liquid crystal display element base materials 31 are adhered and fixed to the adhesive layer 21. Then, the liquid crystal display element 3 is produced on the basis of a normal liquid crystal display element production process including a formation process of a required electrode pattern, a surface treating process of the base materials 31, an arrangement process of a seal material 32 to the periphery of the base materials 31, an assembling process of the base materials 31, an injection process of liquid crystal 33 between the base materials 31, etc. Then, a drying pulley 1 is driven and the endless belt 2 is traveled. Consequently, the liquid crystal display element 3 is forcedly peeled from a belt part 20 at a bent part 22 of the belt.
