PURPOSE:To enable one side edge of a paper to be aligned in a short distance of feeding, by a construction wherein a guide plate comprising a reference surface for making contact with a side edge of a paper is provided, and a spiral roller rotated in one direction for transversely moving the paper toward the reference surface is disposed orthogonally to the side edge of the paper. CONSTITUTION:The paper 23 fed out from a paper-supplying cassette 20 by a paper-supplying roller 22 is guided by a paper guide 21 and a guide plate 25, is fed to a part below a photosensitive body 8 by a paper-feeding part 18, and is discharged by a discharging roller 14 and a pressure roller 16 after passing through a transferring part 11 and a fixing roller 14. Printing is thus conducted, and the paper 23 fed out from the cassette 20 is supported by raised-up paper supports 29 with a small contact area, so that the paper 23 is smoothly fed without being caught by the edge of an opening 30. In addition, the paper 23 is transversely moved by the spiral roller 32 so that the side edge thereof is uniformly aligned by the reference surface 27. |
