PURPOSE:To obtain a molded item whose quality is more stable, by retaining a resin injected by an injection cylinder of a molding machine in a resin retaining section, and injecting the retained resin into a mold by a plunger provided to the retaining section. CONSTITUTION:A melted resin injected from a cylinder of an injection molding machine flows from a sprue 7 via a runner section 71 into a resin retaining section (pot) 13 where it is retained. A plunger 11 is pushed up by the resin that has flowed into the resin retaining section. Thereafter, a change-over valve 17 is changed-over by a control circuit, a hydraulic pump is actuated to apply a hydraulic pressure to the plunger 11 so that the plunger 11 is pushed down, and therefore the resin retained in the resin retaining section is injected via a gate 15 into a cavity 14 to be molded into a product. |
