<p>The invention relates to centrifugal blasting machines or apparatuses for treating surfaces, in particular to the rust removal from the sides of ships. The aim of the invention is constituted by machining inclined or deformed surfaces. The object of the invention is to supply a controllable quantity of abrasive to the centrifugal wheel, rotating in the normal position about a horizontal axis, of a centrifugal blasting machine, irrespective of the inclination thereof. The object is achieved by a conveyor worm which has its own drive and supplies the abrasive from the trough-shaped base of the storage container to the centrifugal wheel. By virtue of a covering of the conveyor worm, which covering is provided with variable openings, the throughput quantity can be controlled. <IMAGE></p> |
