<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate collection and attachment of fiber without lowering traveling properties of yarn, by forming a great number of fine holes with bottoms on the surfaces of rollers having metallic smooth faces. CONSTITUTION:The bottom roller 4 on the back side and the bottom roller 8 on the front side are provided with the holes 4a with the bottom and the holes 8a with the bottom, respectively, and the area of the holes is about 29% based on the whole roller surface. Since pressure to yarn by load from the top rollers 3 and 7 is received on flat points, grasping force to the yarn acts intermittently on the yarn, traveling properties of yarn are improved, damages and end breakage of yarn having particularly low strength, low elongation, and low flex strength are extremely reduced.</p> |
