PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient color development density at the time of development without causing desensitization, fog, stains, etc., during storage by incorporating a specified compd. in at least one of photographic constituent layers. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide color photographic sensitive material has photographic constituent layers including at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a support, and at least one of said constituent layer contains, preferably, in an amt of 0.01-5mol per mol of total silver halide in the photosensitive material, at least one of precursors of a color developing agent represented by the formula shown on the right in which R1, R2 are each 1-4C optionally substd. alkyl; each of R3-R6 is H, halogen, OH, 1-2C optionally substd. alkyl or alkoxy; and Ar is aryl having at least one sulfonic acid or its salt. |
