SOFTWARE VERSION UPGRADING METHOD, TERMINAL AND SYSTEM

A software version upgrading method for mobile terminal is provided, which includes: the mobile terminal receives an updating file of the software version subjected to lossless compression, decompresses and recovers the updating file; the mobile terminal performs a writing operation on the updating file after which is decompressed and recovered. A mobile terminal and a system based on the above method are also provided. By the solution, the lossless compression is performed on the updating file of the software version of the mobile terminal by using a lossless compression algorithm, which solves the problem in the related art of the excessive downloading time and the lower downloading throughput rate during the direct downloading and upgrading of the updating file of the software version, so as to reduce the data transmission amount and shorten the upgrading time of the mobile terminal efficiently, therefore makes the mobile terminal finish the upgrading process rapidly and safely and improve the efficiency of upgrading and downloading.
