PURPOSE:To prevent the sliding surface layer of a bearing from being damaged, by forming the slide surface layer from ceramic materials, and by forming, on the outer surface of the sliding surface layer, a soft layer made of a material selected from a group consisting of tin, lead, copper, silver, gold, graphite, molybdenum disulfide, polytetra fluoroethylane and boron nitride. CONSTITUTION:A soft layer 10 is formed on the outer surface of ceramic piece 8. This soft layer 10 is formed by sputtering a material selected from tin, lead, copper, silver, gold, graphite, morybdenum disulfide, polytetra fluoroethylane and boron nitride. With this arrangement, the soft layer 10 is plastically deformed in accordance with external force to absorb impact force, thereby it is possible to prevent the piece 8 from being damaged. |
