PURPOSE:To provide simply a duplex line by giving the same address number to plural stations connected to a computer and connecting them to a loop transmission line and bypassing a faulty of standby station. CONSTITUTION:The same address number is given to the plural stations 2,2 connected to the computer 1 and they are connected in series with the loop transmission line 3. Each station 2 has a circuit 3; bypassing a transmission reception part 5 controlled by a control section 4 and a bypass relay 7 switching the bypass circuit 3' and the transmission reception part 5 is provided to the input/output section of each station 2. A bypass control section 6 in common to both the control part 4,4 is provided and the bypass relay 7 is switched by switching command of the control section 4 or fault detection to bypass one of the stations 2 and the other is brought into operation. Thus, the duplex station is attained by using a simple circuit without increasing the memory capacity.
