PURPOSE:To change the processing of a secondary processor to cope with the versatility of a device to be controlled, by using the primary and secondary processors to constitute a controller and connecting both processors via a standardized interface. CONSTITUTION:The primary processor 21 sets a command word for access of virtual memory space to the command register 24 of a memory part 23. While the secondary processor 22 processes the access command words set to the register 24 in the order designated by a priority ordering part 32. Then the processor 22 decides the register, memory address, etc. of a device 1 to be actually controlled according to the contents of a memory address part 33 and then produces a prescribed control command in accordance with the designation of an action designating part 34 and the decided type of the control subject. This control command is transferred to the device 1 via an interface 10. Thus the prescribed control is executed within the device 1. |
