Hot adhesive application gun

The gun for applying hot melted adhesive has a barrel formed by a ceramic tube (3). The tube has a nozzle (4) at one end and a bar (11) of solid adhesive is inserted into the opposite end. A heating coil (5,8) is wound around the outside of the tube (3) and the temp. of the adhesive is controlled by sensing elements (6,9). The barrel is fitted in a housing with a temp. control switch and a press-button control to feed the solid bar of adhesive further into the barrel as the melted adhesive is forced out through the nozzle.
