1455416 Fat blend UNILEVER Ltd 21 March 1974 [26 March 1973] 14449/73 Heading C5C A fat blend for margarine or table spreads and having dilatation values at 10‹ C. of at most 1000, at 20‹ C. of at least 200 and at 35‹ C. of no more than 75 comprises a corandomized fat and a nonrandomized fat, the former being produced by corandomizing a fat mixture comprising a palm-based fat, a lauric fat and a trans containing fat (defined), the fat blend containing combined as glycerides 18-50 wt. per cent C 16 -C 24 saturated fatty acids, 3-25 wt. per cent C 16 -C 24 monotrans unsaturated fatty acids and 3-30 wt. per cent C 12 -C 14 saturated fatty acids. As palm based fat anhydrogenated palm oil is used. The other fats are obtained by hydrogenation of sunflower, safflower, cottonseed wheat germ, soya bean, grapeseed, poppy seed, tobacco seed, rye, walnut palm or rapeseed oils. The emulsions contain in addition monoglycerides, citric acid and salt. |
